Freedom Automation, Inc.’s staff is well versed in all aspects of computing. Having worked in the programing and personal computing field from it’s inception Freedom staff has gained knowledge in many different software applications.
Freedom has worked with operating systems from Microsoft DOS, NT, to the latest renditions of Windows 10 and all verions of Windows Server, Unix and the many other platforms.
Freedom has extensive knowledge of ladder and function chart programming, with controllers like Allen Bradley, Modicon, GE Fanuc, Seimes, Square D, SCADA Pak, Koyo, Omron and Opto 22 PLC’s. Freedom strives to promote the use of proven standards on all PLC and computer code.
Freedom has also worked with a number of HMI softwares including Wonderware’s Intouch, Rockwell Software’s RS View & FactoryTalk platforms, Inductive Automation’s Ignition, ControlView, iFix and iFix Dynamics, Genesys, CiTech, Process Windows and a number of others lesser known. Operator interface terminals worked on: A-B Panelview, Automation Direct Cmore Panels, Modicon PanelMate and TCP panels.
Freedom also possesses the knowledge to program in computer languages such as C, C++, C#, Basic and Visual Basic, Pascal, MS SQL, Java, J++ and Python. Our engineers are well versed in networking and networking concepts, dealing with programmable routers, server and network configuration and cabling.
As technology accelerates so does the learning process for Freedom. To stay on the cusp of technology Freedom staff is always taking courses in software currently using and strives to improve software standards and programming procedures. Our staff is cross-trained on all new software and projects making all staff members multi-disiplined.
Freedom Automation has a partnership in place with one of the premier contractors in San Diego, Southern Contracting Company to assist with large scale projects, providing electrical engineering and service, full UL listed panel shop and experienced technicians and electricians.
